Evansville, IN – K9 Dozer was the center of attention during a community coffee event that brought members of the Evansville Police Department and Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office together with residents.
The event was held at Revival Coffee Co., where community members had the opportunity to enjoy coffee, conversation and friendly games while spending time with local law enforcement.
According to the agencies, Dozer quickly became the star of the morning. The K9 received plenty of attention from attendees, showed off some of his skills and remained on his best behavior throughout the event.
The gathering was part of an effort by local law enforcement agencies to connect with residents outside of traditional police and sheriff’s activities.
The Evansville Police Department and Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office thanked everyone who attended and took the time to interact with officers, deputies and Dozer.
The agencies said they enjoy opportunities to visit with the community, have some fun and strengthen relationships with local residents.
The next Coffee with a Cop event is scheduled for Oct. 7 at Mission Grounds as part of National Coffee with a Cop Day.
