Evansville, IN – The City of Evansville announced a major milestone for public safety on July 1 at 11:20 p.m., confirming that its new fleet of in-house emergency medical services within the Evansville Fire Department is now fully operational and serving the community.
According to the city, the transition followed extensive planning, preparation, and investment aimed at strengthening emergency response capabilities across Evansville.
Officials stated that firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics are now working together as a coordinated team to provide faster and more seamless emergency medical care when every second counts.
