Evansville, IN – The City of Evansville announced the addition of a new electric vehicle charging station at Swonder Ice Arena, increasing access to convenient charging options on the city’s east side.
The project was led by the Evansville Climate Collaborative and funded in part through a Go Electric Vehicle Indiana grant from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, along with a local funding match from the city.
Officials said the new station is part of a broader effort to expand Evansville’s charging infrastructure, helping to create a more connected network for electric vehicle users.
The initiative also aims to support the continued adoption of electric vehicles within the community by improving accessibility and convenience for residents and visitors.
