Indianapolis, Indiana – On Saturday for National Drug Takeback Day, everyone is urged to dispose of unwanted, unused, and expired pharmaceuticals at disposal facilities across the state.
According to authorities, you shouldn’t dispose of or flush old medications down the toilet. Instead, think about delivering your liquid and pill medications to the appropriate authorities. They’ll accept vapes as well, but not needles.
There are drop-off locations for this national event all around Indiana. The majority of state police stations will take part from 10 am to 2 pm. The local hospitals, fire, and police agencies will also assist in disposing of the medicines correctly.
At the State of Indiana Government Center North, 100 N. Senate Avenue, Todd Rokita, the attorney general, will have a drop-off facility set up. He said, “Old medications are a serious threat that creates risk to children, friends, and family members.”
