Indianapolis, Indiana – New COVID-19 data were made available on Wednesday by the Indiana Department of Health.
Data was gathered up until Tuesday. Only on Wednesdays are the state totals updated. They are displayed in the periods of the prior week, month, year, and “All Time.”
7,441 Indiana residents tested positive for COVID-19 in the preceding week, according to the government.
Additionally, 22 Hoosiers passed away in the preceding week, with no likely fatalities being reported. For “All Time,” the state has counted 24,113 fatalities and 1,117 probable deaths related to the coronavirus.
1,977,292 Indiana residents have tested positive for the virus during the course of 21,451,525 tests, according to the “All Time” tally for the state.
According to the state, 570 Hoosiers were admitted to hospitals on Tuesday due to COVID-19.
According to IDOH, 3,846,351 Indiana residents had finished the primary vaccine series as of Tuesday. 55.3% of the overall population is represented by that.
Up until Tuesday, 681,289 Indiana residents had received the most recent booster shot.
The Regenstrief Institute estimates that 1,749,284 Indiana residents have recovered from the virus.
