Indianapolis, Indiana – One person was shot to death in the Indianapolis northwest side hotel shooting on Saturday, police say.
According to them, the shooting incident happened to the Quality Inn & Suites on Lafayette Road just before 2 p.m. on Saturday. Deputies were dispatched at the scene following a 911 call in regards to a shooting incident.
When officers arrived at the scene, they were taken by the hotel personnel in the room where the shooting occurred and they found the victim suffering gunshot wounds in critical condition.
The EMS crews immediately transferred the victim to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The police didn’t provide more details of how many shots were fired and said nothing about the identity of the victim.
At this point, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department don’t have arrested any suspects.
