Fort Wayne, Indiana – The Fort Wayne man accused for killing a mother and her three kids earlier this month was formally charged with four counts of murder.
According to police reports, the bodies of 26-year-old Sarah Nicole Zent, her 5-year-old son, Carter Matthew Zent; 3-year-old son, Ashton Duwayne Zent; and 2-year-old daughter, Aubree Christine Zent, were found June 2 in a Fort Wayne home.
The police said all four of the victims died as a result of stabbing wounds and Zent had also been strangled.
The suspect identified as 21-year-old Cohen B. Hancz-Barron was arrested on June 2nd and was held in jail on preliminary murder counts.
Prosecutors formally filed the charges on Tuesday.
