EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Downtown Evansville Economic Improvement District (EID) is set to host its seventh annual Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, May 10, bringing an exciting day of shopping, entertainment, and community fun. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street, stretching from 1st Street to 6th Street. This year’s sale is set to be the largest yet, with over 150 local vendors and businesses participating.
In addition to a wide variety of products and services on offer, attendees will enjoy several activities throughout the day. One of the highlights will be a floral photo backdrop, where visitors can capture special moments. 500 free carnations will also be available to mothers and mother figures, provided on a first-come, first-served basis at Innovation Pointe.
The Sidewalk Sale will also feature live music performances by local musicians, adding a vibrant atmosphere to the event. As always, downtown stores and restaurants will be offering exclusive deals, providing an added incentive for shoppers to explore the area.
Food lovers can look forward to a selection of food trucks, including popular vendors like 3 Chicks Fudgery and Bruce Li, serving up a range of tasty options.
“This year’s event marks our largest ever, with the expansion of an extra block to accommodate 150+ vendors,” said Adam Trinkel, executive director of the EID. “We’re excited to offer an expanded experience for both shoppers and the community.”
The event is made possible through the support of Heritage Federal Credit Union, Astound Broadband, and other local sponsors, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable day for everyone involved.
With an expanded lineup and a variety of activities, the seventh annual Sidewalk Sale is shaping up to be one of Evansville’s biggest community events of the year.
