GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced upcoming lane closures on U.S. 41 near Princeton for scheduled tree trimming operations. Starting Monday, March 17, crews will alternate lane and shoulder closures between County Road 100 West and County Road 300 South.
The work is expected to last approximately three days, depending on weather conditions. The tree trimming is part of routine maintenance efforts aimed at improving roadway safety and ensuring clear paths for drivers, particularly with the arrival of spring.
Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and are advised to plan alternate routes where possible. INDOT encourages the public’s patience as the department works to enhance the region’s roadways.
The department reminds drivers to stay alert and follow any posted signs or instructions during the duration of the project.
For additional information on road closures and updates, drivers can visit INDOT’s official website or follow the department on social media.
