EVANSVILLE, Ind. – A fire broke out at a residence on Evansville’s Westside on Tuesday evening, prompting a swift response from local fire crews.
The Evansville Fire Department received the call around 9:00 p.m. for a working fire at a home located on West Columbia Street. Firefighters arrived on scene and worked quickly to suppress the flames. The fire was reportedly under control within 20 minutes of the initial dispatch.
According to officials, one person was inside the home at the time of the blaze. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
