PERRY COUNTY, Ind. — A tragic accident on SR 37 in Perry County has left one person dead after a collision between a truck and a semi-truck. The incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, just north of Alamo Road.
First responders were quickly on the scene following the crash, which prompted the closure of SR 37 in both directions for several hours. The Indiana State Police were called in to reconstruct the accident, and authorities worked diligently to piece together the events surrounding the crash.
