Evansville, IN – On November 15th, at 11:25 a.m., Evansville Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Waggoner Avenue and S. New York Avenue. Dispatch received multiple calls indicating several shots had been heard.
Upon arrival, officers found shell casings and discovered that several vehicles had been damaged by gunfire. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Investigators quickly gathered suspect information and are actively interviewing witnesses, as well as reviewing video footage from the surrounding area. The investigation is ongoing.
Detectives are urging residents in the area to check any security cameras that may have captured relevant footage that could aid in the investigation.
