Evansville, IN – According to the statement, on November 13, the Evansville Police Department Crime Prevention Unit and the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force conducted a joint operation targeting narcotic activity in the 300 block of NW 6th Street. The operation led to two arrests and the confiscation of significant quantities of dangerous drugs.
Michael A. Jones, 63, was charged with dealing methamphetamine, fentanyl, and Schedule I, II, and III narcotics. Police seized 28.7 grams of K2 (synthetic cannabinoids), 85.8 grams of methamphetamine, and 29.2 grams of fentanyl during his arrest.
Additionally, 64-year-old William T. Robinson was arrested after a traffic stop revealed he was in possession of drug paraphernalia and a Schedule V narcotic.
Both suspects were booked into the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center.
