Indianapolis, Indiana – On Wednesday, the Indiana Department of Health updated the state’s coronavirus dashboard with new COVID-19 data.
Data was gathered up until Tuesday. Every Wednesday, the state’s dashboard is updated.
The COVID-19 death toll in Indiana increased from 24,629 on January 18 to 24,684 on Tuesday. That is a rise of 55.
On Tuesday, there were 1,177 potential fatalities, up from 1,167 on January 18. That represents a growth of 10.
Tuesday saw a rise in the number of COVID-19-positive cases, from 2,020,938 on January 18 to 2,024,969 today. That represents a 4.031% increase.
On Tuesday, the state reported a seven-day average of 419 ER visits and 65 hospital admissions.
According to IDOH, 3,855,101 Indiana residents had finished the primary vaccine series as of Tuesday. 55.4% of the entire population is represented by that.
Up until Tuesday, 826,543 Indiana residents had received the most recent booster shot.
The Regenstrief Institute estimates that 1,787,875 Indiana residents have recovered from the infection.
According to the Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering, there have been more than 669,466,000 confirmed cases worldwide, resulting in more than 6,797,000 fatalities.
