Indianapolis, Indiana – Following a shooting on Indianapolis’ east side early on Saturday morning, a 10-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital.
The youngster was struck just before 2 a.m., according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, when shots were fired from outside a house in the 4100 block of East 21st Street.
Numerous people were inside the residence when the incident occurred, according to the police. The boy was asleep when he was struck by the bullets.
Before the medics arrived, the officers treated the boy’s injuries. After being transported to the hospital, he was last listed as stable.
At this moment, investigators are not aware of any suspect information.
