Bloomington, Indiana – Indiana woman will be the first sentenced in Jan. 6 US Capitol riot according to the latest information.
The 49-year-old Anna Morgan-Lloyd of Bloomfield was charged with one misdemeanor charge of demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol and she decided to plead guilty in exchange for three years probation, $500 in restitution and community service. The court should take place on Wednesday.
Six months have passed since the riot and Lloyd is the first ever person to be found guilty in a connection with the incidents on Jan. 6.
According to the court reports, Lloyd traveled to Washington together with a friend who is also charged in the incidents.
The arrests came in February after authorities found social media posts with pictures while they were inside the Capitol.
No information about her friend is available at this time.
