Evansville, IN – The Evansville Fire Department announced an update following a gas leak, reporting that the Lloyd Expressway had reopened in all directions.
Northbound Eagle Crest Boulevard remained closed at Lloyd Expressway as of the department’s update, with officials saying the closure could be lifted within the following hour pending safety assessments.
All shelter-in-place restrictions related to the incident were also lifted.
Motorists were urged to continue using caution in the area and follow directions from public safety personnel as crews continued to assess the situation.
