Bloomington, Indiana – When Toppers Pizza opens on April 14 at 212 S. Indiana Ave., across from the Maurer School of Law, residents of Bloomington will have a new pizza alternative.
According to its website, the business uses genuine Wisconsin cheese on their pizzas. From pepperoni to mac ‘n cheese to the Walking Taco Topper pizza, Toppers offers a variety of pizzas.
The business, which has facilities in 12 states, including Indiana, was started in 1991. In Indiana, this is the second facility to open. According to a news release, an Indianapolis branch started operations in 2012.
In the press statement, founder and CEO Scott Gittrich expressed his excitement about launching a branch in Bloomington.
“We’re on a mission to redefine what customers should expect from a pizza chain, and we can’t wait to offer customers in Bloomington bold, innovative menu options they can’t find anywhere else, along with a fun, never-settle attitude that is certain to have them coming back,” Gittrich said in the release.
In honor of the grand launch, the eatery will be providing a buy one, get one free pizza special from April 14 through April 23.
