Indianapolis, Indiana – The recent surge in number continues in Indiana as the Indiana State Department of Health announces high number in their latest Covid-19 report.
According to the report, Indiana added 3,713 new cases in the Covid-19 statistics in Thursday’s report.
Additionally, 15 deaths were reported as a result of the virus.
Since the start of the pandemic, 14,214 deaths were reported. 13,783 were confirmed deaths, while 431 cases are probable deaths.
The total number of positive cases in state now reached 813,046 cases since March 2020 when the pandemic started.
IDOH reported the total number of fully vaccinated people is 3,026,218.
A total of 11,762,631 tests for COVID-19 have been given since the pandemic began.
Currently, there are 1,654 people hospitalized which is 38 more compared to previous day.
20.4% of ICU beds in the state are being used for COVID-19 patients and 54.8% of the ICU beds are being used for non-COVID-19 patients, according to IDOH. 24.8% of ICU beds are available.
