Fort Wayne, Indiana – The main suspect believed to be responsible for the death of a woman and 3 children who were found dead in Fort Wayne Wednesday morning was arrested and charged.
According to police reports, the victims were found dead at the 2900 Block of Gay St. in Fort Wayne around 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday when officers responded to a 911 call in regards of a ‘unknown problem’.
The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Cohen Bennet Hancz-Barron. The identities of the victims were not released by police.
Officers have a reason to believe Barron was at the scene when the victims were killed as they connected the suspect to the victims.
The suspect was arrested in Lafayette which is more than 100 miles away from the scene.
The forensics reports revealed that the murder occurred no more than 5 hours before victims were found.
