Indiana – The number of cases recently in Indiana remains stable, but the number of deaths is increasing and that was once again confirmed in the latest Covid-19 report on Wednesday.
According to Indiana State Department of Health, Indiana added 2,952 new cases and 86 additional deaths in Wednesday’s report.
Since the start of the pandemic, the number of deaths reached 14,258, while the total number of cases is 886,362.
Currently, there are 2,513 hospitalized patients infected with the virus.
A total of 6,301,543 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana. The number includes 3,160,508 first doses and 3,141,035 individuals completely vaccinated with two doses of the vaccines.
Among all tests, the cumulative positivity rate is 8.6%, while the seven-day positivity rate is 11.6%.
There are nearly 20% of the ICU beds available right now in Indiana.
