Indiana – Indiana State Department of Health released the Friday’s report and the state once again reported high number of cases, over 5,000.
According to the report, Indiana reported 5,079 people who tested positive for the virus.
In the same report, 20 additional Covid-19 related deaths were added.
This brings the total number of deaths to 14,570. According to the data, 14,121 are confirmed deaths, while 449 are counted as probable.
The total number of cases reached 873,480 since March 2020.
Since Thursday, the number of hospitalized cases increased by 77, now reaching 2,443 patients treated in hospital.
So far, a total of 6,259,795 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 3,140,793 first doses and 3,119,002 people fully vaccinated.
Among all tests, the cumulative positivity rate is 8.6%, while the seven-day positivity rate is 11.5%.
