EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Feed Evansville is giving back to the community this holiday season by hosting a food distribution event on Wednesday. The event, which began at noon, is being held at the CK Newsome Center parking lot and is set to run until 4 p.m.
Organizers are distributing one food box per household to anyone in need. The boxes are being handed out to help families prepare for Thanksgiving, ensuring that those facing food insecurity have access to a meal during the holiday season.
Those interested in receiving a food box are asked to enter the distribution line at the intersection of 9th and Locust Streets. Volunteers from Feed Evansville are on hand to assist with the process and ensure that the event runs smoothly.
This initiative is part of Feed Evansville’s ongoing commitment to supporting local residents and providing vital resources to families throughout the year.
