EVANSVILLE, Ind. – A father was found guilty of murder and neglect in the tragic death of his 6-month-old baby, Kaysen Hedrick. The verdict was handed down Thursday, concluding the trial that began earlier this week.
Shane Hedrick, the father of the infant, was charged after authorities responded to an emergency call at his home in January 2024. Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find Kaysen unresponsive. Despite efforts to perform life-saving measures, the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
