Indianapolis, Indiana – Wednesday late-night accident in Indianapolis was fatal for one person after he was struck and killed at the scene, police say.
According to the police report, the accident happened in the late-night hours at 34th Street and College Avenue on the city’s near north side.
A Public Information Officer with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department at the scene said a car had stopped southbound on College Avenue when a dark vehicle behind darted around the stopped motorist and that’s when the second vehicle struck the pedestrian.
When police officers and EMS crews arrived at the scene, the victim was lying on the ground and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
