EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Local law enforcement agencies in Evansville will kick off the year with their first “Coffee With A Cop” event on Tuesday, January 23, 2025. The community gathering will take place at 7 a.m., offering a chance for residents to engage directly with officers from the Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office.
The event provides a casual setting where community members can meet with local law enforcement personnel, ask questions, voice concerns, and discuss issues affecting their neighborhoods. “Coffee With A Cop” is designed to foster positive relationships between police officers and the public, creating an open dialogue that promotes transparency and trust.
This event is the first in a series planned for the year, allowing residents to engage with law enforcement in a relaxed atmosphere outside of emergency situations. Both the Evansville Police Department and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office are committed to building stronger connections with the community they serve.
Residents are encouraged to attend, grab a cup of coffee, and have a conversation with officers about anything on their minds. Whether it’s crime prevention, community safety, or simply getting to know the people who serve their community, “Coffee With A Cop” offers an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the public in a meaningful way.
