Evansville, IN – As the holiday season winds down, many Vanderburgh County residents may be wondering what to do with their Christmas trees. For those living in Evansville, the solution is simple. Starting Monday, December 30, the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) is offering a Christmas tree disposal service for residential city customers.
Through January 10, residents can place their Christmas trees at the curb next to their trash cans on their regularly scheduled trash collection day. Republic Services will then pick up the trees and transport them to the landfill.
The annual Christmas Tree Disposal Service provides an easy way for residents to dispose of their trees after the holiday season, ensuring a convenient and environmentally responsible option for tree removal. The service runs through Friday, January 10, allowing residents ample time to participate.
For more information about the disposal service, residents are encouraged to contact the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility or visit the city’s official website.
