EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A 28-year-old man, Zachary Alvey, has been arrested after authorities say he molested a child over the course of several years.
The Evansville Police Department confirmed that Alvey was taken into custody following the issuance of an arrest warrant.
According to investigators, the victim came forward, claiming that Alvey had inappropriately touched them on multiple occasions over a span of four years.
During an interview with law enforcement, Alvey denied the allegations. However, the charges against him are serious, and he is currently being held on a $100,000 bond. As part of his bond conditions, Alvey is ordered to have no contact with the victim.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to gather details related to the case.
