Daleville, IN – One person is behind bars accused for fatally injuring grandfather after argument goes wrong, police say.
According to the incident report, deputies were dispatched to the 9100 block of South Walnut Street around 2:45 a.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they found the suspect performing CPR on his grandfather. However, the CPR was not successful and the victim, identified as the 67-year-old Robert Huffman, died at the scene.
The police said that there was an argument between the two that at one point went violent and the suspect fatally injured the victim.
“At some point, the argument turned violent, and Huffman sustained a fatal injury,” ISP said in a news release.
The motive for the incident was not released at this point of the investigation. The autopsy should reveal the cause of the death.
More details are expected to be announced in the upcoming days.
