Bloomington, Indiana – An Indiana State Police trooper stopped a car on I-69 near the Third Street overpass in Bloomington on Thursday for speeding.
The troopers identified the female passenger as 27-year-old Danielle Brown of Martinsville, while talking to the occupants of the car. Brown was wanted in Lawrence County on a warrant.
It was on that warrant that she was arrested.
Police found Brown with nearly 25 grams of suspected heroin concealed inside her clothes during a search of her person. She was then transported and booked into the Monroe County Jail on felony charges of dealing and possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a syringe, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
