Orleans, Indiana – Many Orleans citizens attended the first of two scheduled public meetings at Town Hall last Tuesday night to get more information about the town’s ongoing Bike and Pedestrian Master Planning process and to offer feedback on the draft materials.
After receiving a $20,000 grant from the Indiana Department of Health, the Town of Orleans started its planning work late in the previous fall.
The project team has been working with an advisory committee made up of Orleans locals and community leaders over the past few months to produce a set of objectives and suggested solutions for where improvements are required.
In addition to the usual town council meeting on April 20 at 5:00 p.m., there will be a second public meeting. Attendance is encouraged and open to the public.
