Indianapolis, Indiana – The first day of the Devour Indy Winterfest is on Monday. For the next two weeks, foodies have the opportunity to visit some of their favorite restaurants at a discounted rate while also exploring new restaurants.
The Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association hosts Devour Indy twice yearly, once in the winter and once in the summer, for a total of four weeks during each event. Each year, participants come from more than 100 different restaurants located throughout central Indiana.
The Devour Indy Winterfest was created with the intention of providing support to local restaurants during the winter, which is typically a slow time for the hospitality industry.
Customers can choose a participating restaurant by using the Devour Indy website, which is available to them. When guests arrive at the restaurant, they should inquire about the Devour menu, which is a three-course meal that can be purchased at a discounted rate.
The general manager of Ocean Prime, David VanOstrand, gave a presentation about the unique Devour menu that the restaurant offers.
“For Devour, we have our deviled eggs, which are truffle-infused with a little bit of caviar on top, salad with some fantastic goat cheese and apples, and then our French onion soup — a daily choice of one of those to start. Then we’ve got crab cakes, salmon, scallops, or filet.”
According to VanOstrand, diners can also expect great service from Ocean Prime staff.
“Genuine hospitality — that’s what kind of sets us apart. Our service. The food is as good as it gets — you combine the two and it’s just a home run,” VanOstrand said.
Participating Devour Indy Winterfest restaurants include:
• 1830 Chophouse
• Bru Burger Bar
• Dawson’s on Main
• Diavola
• Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya
• Mesh on Mass
• Oakleys Bistro

The Devour Indy Winterfest 2023 will continue until February 5th.
