Indianapolis, Indiana – Indiana added 612 new Covid-19 cases in the latest report issued by the Indiana State Department of Health on Wednesday.
This has been the highest number of positive cases recorded since June 2.
Six more people were reported death as a result of the virus.
Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 759,062 positive cases have been reported. The total number of deaths is 13,512.
A total of 5,728,334 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Indiana. The number includes 2,849,158 first doses and 2,879,176 individuals completely vaccinated.
Currently, there are 415 people in hospital.
The seven-day positivity rate is 4.1%.
