Bloomington, Indiana – Lots of people in Bloomington this week were disturbed by heave noise and low flying helicopters. The army, which was performing a routine training exercises apologized for the disturbance in the last couple of days.
The training included low flying helicopters, simulated gunfire, and explosions officials say. Army officials say they tried to informed the residents about the training sessions this week but apparently not everyone got the message.
Following the events, army officials apologized to the local residents. According to them, they inform cities and police agencies to deliver the message to local residents, but obviously they didn’t deliver this time.
A Bloomington spokesperson says the city was asked to limit public notice and it followed those orders.
