EVANSVILLE, Ind. – A 29-year-old Evansville man has been arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses after a recent traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal substances in his possession.
David Gronski, who was first arrested in 2020 on charges of dealing heroin and maintaining controlled substances, now faces similar allegations. Officers with the Evansville Police Department say they found Gronski acting erratically behind the wheel of a stopped vehicle. According to an affidavit, Gronski was seen “flailing around inside the car,” which led officers to suspect he was under the influence of drugs.
Upon removing Gronski from the vehicle, police say he admitted to using methamphetamine. A subsequent search of the car revealed 7.11 grams of heroin, 0.88 grams of cocaine, 0.91 grams of methamphetamine, and various drug paraphernalia.
Gronski has been charged with multiple counts of possession and dealing narcotics, including cocaine, and is also facing charges for driving under the influence. He is currently being held without bond at the Vanderburgh County Corrections Center as he awaits further legal proceedings.
This latest arrest marks a troubling continuation of Gronski’s involvement in illegal drug activity, highlighting ongoing concerns over drug trafficking in the Evansville area.
