EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A man was arrested on numerous drug and firearms charges following the execution of a search warrant at a home on Stanley Avenue in Evansville on Tuesday.
According to the Evansville Police Department, officers arrived at the residence and observed the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Brandon McKinney, meeting with several individuals outside. When approached by police, McKinney complied with their commands and was detained.
Upon conducting a search of the home, authorities discovered a large amount of contraband, including 41 firearms, cash, scales, nearly 400 grams of marijuana, and approximately 55 grams of methamphetamine. The discovery led to McKinney’s arrest on multiple charges related to the possession and distribution of drugs and firearms.
McKinney, who was already serving probation in neighboring Warrick County, was transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail, where he is being held on no bond. He faces serious charges related to drug trafficking and illegal possession of firearms.
