EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has teamed up with the American Red Cross to offer support to residents impacted by the recent severe weather. The collaboration aims to provide much-needed cleaning supplies to help local families in their recovery efforts.
A supply drive-thru event is set to take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Howell Park, located at 1045 South Barker Avenue in Evansville. This initiative is specifically designed to assist residents of Union Township and the Westside of Evansville, with extended hours to ensure greater accessibility for those affected by the storms.
EMA officials expressed hope that the drive-thru service, which allows residents to conveniently pick up cleaning supplies, will make the recovery process easier for those in need. The agency aims to help ease the burden on local residents as they clean up and restore their homes in the wake of the recent severe weather.
