VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. — A routine search warrant execution led to the discovery of various drugs in the residence of a local man, resulting in multiple charges.
Authorities report that on the afternoon of April 10th, Vanderburgh County deputies were executing a search warrant at a residence on Harlaxton Drive in connection with an unrelated charge. During the search, deputies discovered illegal substances inside the room of 31-year-old Tyler Vest.
Following the discovery, officials obtained a second search warrant, which led to a more thorough investigation. Inside Vest’s room, deputies uncovered marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and other drugs.
During an interview, Vest reportedly admitted that the drugs found in his possession were his. As a result, he was arrested and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on several drug possession charges.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to follow leads in connection with the case. Vanderburgh County law enforcement continues to remind the community of their commitment to fighting drug-related offenses.
Vest is currently being held on bond at the Vanderburgh County Jail, pending further court proceedings.
