EVANSVILLE, Ind. — UNIFI Autism Care has officially opened its doors to its first center in Evansville, marking a significant milestone in its mission to provide innovative, holistic autism care. The 15,226-square-foot facility, located at 1004 West Illinois Street, celebrated its grand opening on Tuesday and has the capacity to serve up to 95 full-time patients.
This state-of-the-art center represents a major shift in the way behavioral therapy is approached for children with autism. Unlike traditional methods that often isolate therapy into distinct areas, UNIFI’s center coordinates care across a variety of professionals, fostering a comprehensive and supportive environment for each child’s unique needs.
Dr. Breanne Hartley, president and chief clinical officer of UNIFI Autism Care, shared her enthusiasm about the new center. “This is more than just a therapy center,” Dr. Hartley said. “It’s a place where children with autism are empowered to thrive. We believe the sky’s the limit for these children, and everything about our Evansville facility reflects that commitment.”
The new facility offers a wide range of services, including behavior analysis, Life-FIT (Family Interaction Training), and diagnostic evaluations. To further engage and inspire children, the center’s design features an “out of this world” theme, which is aimed at sparking imagination and boosting confidence among the young patients.
In addition to its cutting-edge care services, the center is also focused on strengthening the role of families in the therapy process. Life-FIT training helps families build stronger connections with their children and supports parents in navigating the challenges of autism care.
Families looking to begin their journey with UNIFI Autism Care can get in touch by calling 888-717-5835 or emailing [email protected]. The center is also accepting provider referrals via fax at 317-708-4301.
As part of its ongoing expansion in Indiana, UNIFI plans to open additional centers in Broad Ripple, South Bend/Mishawaka, and Bloomington. Dr. Hartley emphasized that these new locations are a key part of the organization’s broader mission to make holistic autism care more accessible throughout the state.
“We’re excited to bring our approach to new communities in Indiana,” Dr. Hartley said. “These upcoming locations will allow us to further our commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality autism care for families across the state.”
In addition to the new centers, UNIFI is actively hiring for a variety of positions across its facilities. Individuals interested in joining the team can visit unifiautism.com/careers for more information and to apply.
UNIFI Autism Care’s innovative approach to autism therapy continues to set a new standard for the industry, and the Evansville center is just the beginning of what promises to be a transformative journey for children and families in Indiana.
