Indiana – The trend with high coronavirus daily cases in the state continues as the Delta variant surges across the state.
According to the Indiana State Department of Health report issued on Friday, the stated 1,461 new positive cases in the statistics.
Additionally, six new Covid-19 related deaths in the same report were confirmed.
With the latest numbers on Friday, Indiana reported a total of 771,299 positive cases since the start of the pandemic, while the total number of deaths reached 13,576.
As of Thursday, 755 Hoosiers are hospitalized as a result of the virus.
A total of 5,874,545 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 2,930,035 first doses and 2,944,510 individuals who are fully vaccinated.
The 7-day positivity rate is 6.8%.
