GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. — An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Friday night.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Carithers Road, near County Road 465 East. Deputies from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) responded to the scene, where they identified the driver as Jaksen Allen.
Upon investigation, officers noted signs of impairment and proceeded with a roadside DUI evaluation. Following the investigation, Allen was arrested and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
Allen now faces charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Minor Consumption. Authorities continue to remind the public of the dangers of impaired driving, especially among young drivers.
