Martin University uses different methods to attract people to the vaccination clinic

Indianapolis, Indiana – Indianapolis-based Martin University is using a different approach in order to make people obtain COVID-19 booster shots.

Namely, those who will visit the pop-up clinic starting next week and get the COVID-19 booster will receive a little bonus in addition to the shot. As a result of collaboration between Martin University, Light of the World Christian Church, and IU Health, attendees receiving the booster shot or vaccine, which are provided at no cost, will also get a $50 gift card.

“The fact that recipients get a free booster or vaccine plus $50 is a win-win for everyone,” said Martin University President Sean Huddleston. “We care for our community and want this to be an encouragement to participate, help the community stay healthy, and receive $50 at a significant time of the year.”

The pop-up clinic is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 5, at the Gathertorium of Martin University from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 2186 N. Sherman Drive in Indianapolis.

People getting vaccines are required to have their COVID vaccination card with them and should have already had their first vaccination at least two months ago. A bivalent booster from Pfizer will be administered.
