JASPER, Ind. — Legacy Bar & Grill, a popular dining spot in Jasper, is seeking answers after an overnight break-in resulted in the theft of thousands of dollars in cash. The restaurant posted about the incident on social media Tuesday afternoon, asking the community for help in identifying those responsible.
According to the restaurant’s owner, security camera footage was reviewed, and all employees have been cleared of any wrongdoing. The business has also filed a police report with the Jasper Police Department.
“We have reviewed the security footage and cleared all of our employees of any involvement. We have filed a report with the police and are asking anyone with information to come forward,” the owner shared on Facebook.
The restaurant’s post has since garnered dozens of supportive comments from the community, expressing sympathy for the loss and offering encouragement as the investigation unfolds.
Jasper Police are now actively looking into the case, and restaurant staff are urging anyone with tips or information to reach out to local authorities.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
