Indiana — Sgt. Stephen Wheeles of the Indiana State Police issued an early morning update Friday, warning residents that road conditions remain hazardous near Seymour due to heavy snow.
Wheeles said the region was experiencing a brief break from the snowfall, but that Indiana Department of Transportation crews were working to clear the roads.
He noted that conditions were poor and that only one lane of travel was passable in most areas.
The sergeant urged residents to stay home and stay warm, adding that light traffic has helped first responders keep up with calls for service. No major incidents were reported in the update.
