Indiana – This summer, are you trying to find a cheap way to adopt a new pet? It might be this.
A month-long adoption drive where pet adoptions will be made more inexpensive has been announced by the BISSELL Pet Foundation for its Indiana shelters.
In accordance with a statement issued by the foundation on Tuesday, numerous participating places across the Hoosier State will refer to the month of July as “Empty the Shelters” month.
An animal shelter in Indianapolis issued a frantic appeal for adoptions: “We have no more room.”
According to the press release from BISSELL, central Indiana shelters will be offering adoptions for $50 or less from July 6 through July 31.

• Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control
• Fulton County Animal Center
• Greene County Humane Society
• Greensburg Decatur County Animal Shelter
• Humane Indiana
• Independent Cat Society
• Kokomo Humane Society
• Orange County Humane Society Inc.
• South Bend Animal Resource Center
• Vanderburgh Humane Society
• White River Humane Society
