OAKLAND CITY, Ind. – Indiana State Police (ISP) have identified the victim in a homicide investigation that began Thursday afternoon in Oakland City.
According to ISP, 57-year-old Brad Fiscus was found deceased inside his residence on Dale Street. Authorities responded to the scene on April 24, where Fiscus was discovered under suspicious circumstances, prompting an immediate investigation.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that one suspect is currently in custody, though their identity has not been released. The investigation remains active as ISP continues to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
An autopsy for Fiscus is scheduled to take place Saturday to determine the official cause and manner of death.
