Indianapolis, Indiana – Senior living facility located on the Indianapolis south side has multiple job positions opened and is looking to hire.
According the Hellenic Senior Living, they are looking to hire several people and fill the nursing staff, cooks and dining staff positions.
The nursing staff announced that they will he holding a job event on Thursday at their facility located at 8601 Shelby Street and everyone interested is welcome for an interview.
Chelse Glowner is a Certified Nursing Assistant she’s been with Hellenic Senior Living for about two months.
“I love it,” said Glowner.
Glowner added that she spent more than 12 years working in the senior facilities business, she started as a housekeeper and eventually becoming a CNA.
“We serve room trays, we start getting people ready for the morning for breakfast, take their laundry back, pick up trash, offer showers, pretty much getting ready for appointments if they need to be ready for appointments,” said Glowner.
“We really want to find people who believe in what we do and will be dedicated to what we do,” said Kim Gregory, the Human Resources Director for the living center.
According to her, they have multiple job positions that they are looking to fill as soon as possible and welcomes everyone interested to come at the event on Thursday.
We are hiring for nurses, QNA’s which are qualified medication assistants, CNA certified nursing assistants, cooks, dining servers and housekeeping,” said Gregory.
As a result of the workers shortage recently in the area and the need of filling the positions soon, they will look to hire those interested that will come on Thursday.
“We’re offering a $500 sign-on attendance bonus for full-time positions, and will have gift cards, and will have on-site interviews. And so it really is going to be a very spectacular event,” said Gregory.
Those who will attend the hiring event on Thursday are asked to bring a short resume, ID and to fill job application that would be available on site. Wearing a face mask and maintaining a social distance will be required from the attendees.
