Evansville, IN – The City of Evansville announced the upcoming 18th annual Homeless Connect of Southwest Indiana, an event designed to provide essential services and support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The event will take place Thursday, March 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Old National Events Plaza.
Community organizations and service providers will come together to offer a wide range of free services, including legal assistance, financial and utility help, support obtaining birth certificates, employment resources, veterans services, recovery and re-entry programs, health screenings, and haircuts.
City officials said the event typically serves more than 700 individuals and families each year, providing a day of support and connection for those in need.
