EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An Evansville man has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for his involvement in the brutal murder of Corey Fisher. Cade Kirk, 30, was found guilty of participating in the violent attack that led to Fisher’s death in June 2024.
According to officials, Kirk and another man, Charles Miles, attacked Fisher in a violent confrontation that ultimately left the victim with fatal injuries. Despite efforts to survive, Fisher succumbed to his wounds shortly after the assault.
During the sentencing, the court emphasized the severity of the crime, and Kirk received a 55-year sentence for his role in the murder. In addition, he was credited with 248 days already served while awaiting trial.
