EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Curtis Esters, a man previously sentenced to 10 years in prison on drug dealing charges, is back behind bars following a months-long investigation by the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force.
The investigation, which began in September of last year, centered around Esters’ involvement in the illegal distribution of methamphetamine. According to officials, officers utilized a confidential informant to purchase hundreds of grams of meth from a residence on East Riverside Drive.
On Friday, law enforcement executed a search warrant at the property, leading to the arrest of Curtis Esters on multiple meth dealing charges. His wife, Antrea Esters, was also taken into custody for her role in maintaining a common nuisance, a charge related to the ongoing drug activity at the residence.
Curtis Esters is currently being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail with a bond set at $25,000. His wife, Antrea Esters, faces a bond of $2,500.
Both individuals are now facing serious legal consequences as authorities continue to address drug-related issues in the area.
